They'll be in your game directory as .yrm (Yuri's Revenge maps) or .mpr (Red Alert 2 maps)

A merge will not work was the outcome of the talks/noone really knew what it would look like, at least that was the short of it.

Extract the ddraw zip so you have ddraw.dll in the root of your RA2 directory
