1 nickname for the ladder.

 

 

I know the ladder will not contain 250 anymore.

 

 

Do we go for quality or quantity.

 

 

people got 1 loss, for example 13 - 1 and they make a new nickname because everyone hates a loss.

 

 

Quickmatch points filter should be cared off in this case.

 

 

 

 

 

I find myself in situations i got good points but people harrass me with making new nicks. It is even worse than cheating in my opinion.

I go for one nickname.

I vote 1 nickname for ranked games and remove points filter from QM. This way you get to play everyone which means more activity and only the player who beats everyone will be RaNk #1.

I personally don't care if that means that I'm going to lose more points. What I care for is a lot of quality RA2 games without waiting in QM.

Multiple nicknames only distort the ladder but is currently necessary when you can't match anyone in QM if you're TOP5, like me.



BTW, you can only have one nickname in HoF.

@rumblesom: Sorry if you don't like my sig. RA2 ranks don't mean anything in life but this is a RA2 forum and I wear every one of my ranks with pride, even a RaNk #10 because I can truly say that all of my ranks were achieved through fair-play, never failed a single Admin SS or request, have numerous videos. How many players can honestly say the same about them?

One nickname for the ladder, with the current point system would kill QM really quick. It would be next to impossible to find a QM once you get a good amount of points.

 

If there would be no points filter, it would just encourage top players to stop quick matching and focus on custom games (something that's already happening). Why would someone play for +1 point in QM with the risk of getting DC'ed and losing 64 points vs some random player when he can just arrange custom games vs top players in the lobby?

not that I play much nor contribute much to the top end of the QM ladder but 1 nickname is a great idea and should have been implemented back in 04-06 #bettertimes

change win limit to 10-15 per day

change pts filter to match @ 400 - 500 pts difference

 

your ladder would thrive better if that what you're trying to achieve

also if possible should have a "rematch" option, like when u finish qm games it asks you if you want to add the player you just played as buddy, instead of asking that it should ask for a rematch, if both accept you go for a rematch.

cuz sorta annoying when ur in series n keep get matched with others...

Excellent ideas Tomi -

Qm series option - ensure qm style Matchup with same player until series is completed (within an expiring timeframe)

Rematch option

3 series limit per 24 hours

2 nicks per account

All duplicate accounts automatically merged

- No points filter on QM for players who have over 300 points. Its the only way to get the QM activity up and save yourself from matching pinoysf (no offense) each time. 

 

- One or two nicknames ftw. Sick of people making new nick names, getting to 400 or 500 points and decent win/loss and then only using that nickname when they're more likely to win or if they're playing against someone with a lot more points than them. (paf might kill himself if this happens, which would also be great for the community. jk) 

 

- I don't understand why there still is a 5 win limit. Its not like people are giving away free wins or anything. 

 

- Rematch option for sure. It sucks when you're mid series in a QM with someone, and then one of you ends up matching someone else.

It also makes pushing very easy and would no doubt cause issues.
