Origin have released a free download of Ra2 and YR for a limited amount of time. Spread the word and make sure you claim your copy!

Yes. It is a full version of the game with a valid serial. Even if you already have ra2 via origin you can claim another copy.

Cmon guys. That's the biggest chance to get XWIS active again! Spread it out and go register and tell every one to get it.

Funny how CNCnet is advertising this on the main RA2 Facebook page (which they shouldn't even have access to) and telling people to go play on CNCnet. I guess they don't care about legalities. They aren't even allowed to own the yurisrevenge.com domain since it's trademarked name. Oh well, at least their intentions are well meant I guess.

I have a friend who lives in Rio de Janeiro and not at all can access the link always redirects to the other of the original games, any idea what's going on? he tried in all browsers, with and without translation ...for it only appears that damn hospital game, haha

He first needs to install Origin, then click on the download link.

 

Step 1: Download Origin and install it: http://www.dm.origin.com/download

Step 2: Create an EA Games account to log in to Origin

Step 3: Access this link to add RA2 / Yuri to your Origin account:

Step 4: Download the game and install it with the serial number provided

Step 5: Go to http://xwis.net/game-account/and add your serial number, create a nickname and write down the password from that page

Step 6: Start the game go to Internet --> Custom Match --> log in with the nickname you created and the generated password

Mmm yeah thats not quite fair. Like I said before theres a load of mods/admins on that page. I made a post..

I'm thinking it might be a tech issue, there were a lot of comments about it being unable to download at some point today

Are the people on FB who said the offer was until Dec associated with Origin? If so I doubt they would give a date and then not live up to it. Could be temporary like neogrant said.
