Um I haven't played any qm on xwis, only custom match tourny games. Are crates on in qm games? If so, you could get map reveal crate.....then if someone wanted a ss, you would look like a cheetAr!!11 Someone tell me crates are off.

Giving points back...

I've read some threads were two guys come into an agreement on giving points back because of the way a match turned out. What does this mean, and how do you give points back?

XWIS Ranking System

11 May 2004 - 03:49 AM

Hey, I had a suggestion, which prolly don't mean much, me being a n00b and all, but it has to do with the ranking system on XWIS. To me, it seems like it would be better if there were a limited number of games to be played for each month, so that someone couldn't play, say 100 games more than anyone else, which could make him/her #1 that month. The way it is set up now, the person who is ranked first isn't necessarily the best, is that right or not? I mean, it could be someone who has more spare time than others therefore can play a lot more than others, in turn racking up points.

In sports, each season every team plays about the same amount of games. I feel like it should be the same on xwis too. You could take the average amount of games played each month for each player and make that the set limit you can play. Then any other game after that is just a ffg.

There prolly will be complications with this because when everyone is done playing their set amount of games, then their still could be some peeps left without anyone to play with, and need to finish up their games too. Hmmmmm, did I just waste my time typing this? You decide.
