Unable to Set Video Mode

I get the "Unable to set video mode" error after I try install with the xwis ra2 exe .. I'm using windows 8.1 .. any fix for this?

Actually it installs but when I launch the game it says unable to set the video mode

Whats up dudes .. I hear there is some tournament going on with actual MONEY involved. Well .. I guess they are only like a decade late. Anyhow, in light of this activity I felt like loading Ra2 up again and playing some games for old time sake. Who actually still plays this heap? :cool:

I was clearly winning, him with maybe 1 or 2 miners left .. and then came the DC. He DCed, then reconnected, then DCed again .. the second time he never came back. There was no DCing until I was winning.

Internal Error problems ..

Whenever I try to go into an online game, and start it, I get an internal error. Lobby and all works .. offline mode works as well. Any suggestions? I just got a new disc and installed it bout 15 minutes ago..
