I used the multiplayer only version, which seems to work flawlessly. Do I need to make a new topic in the fairplay section to offer the FWs?

I suddnely realised that I changed last weekend from the RA2 and YR disk version to the TFD version (due cd-load lag). I also threw in the unofficial TFD patch into it, which probably installed that file in the first place. I am currently reinstalling the CD version. Keep you updated.

Got the LAN patch in your game dir? If so, remove it.

file name? Or do you mean the wsock.dll? I didn't do anything with it. Is it save to remove it?

Yeah, no problems anymore. I can life with the cable.

Does it happen before starting the game/match? What's the error message?

It just happens when waiting in the custom match setup. So yeah, before the game/match. Also leaving the custom match, so before the disconnections, automatically disconnects the game. message is "you've been disconnected from the server".

I also have my anti virus and firewall turned off.

I just got to fix the problem, albeit I am not completel satisfied: I plugged my laptop directly into the router and went from wifi to lan. That way I kept connection. I am going to run some more tests, just to make sure no new problems pop up. What could btw be causing the wifi problem?
