i mean, yuri is by far and away the best faction. gattling tanks are the best aa, because they can fire while moving and also deal more damage than flaks and ifvs. boomers are cheap and can be built when the opponent isn't ready for sea to ground missiles. discs are difficult to shoot down because they're fast and tough, and even if they do get low on health, they can be pulled back and given time to self heal. and then there's the other stuff yuri has... like the master mind, and the "can't touch this" magnetron.

so why not use yuri? noone's afraid of using n00belf in TFT.

no soviet is better in qm ic owns yuri plus if your yuri your gona get engied or at least there gona try to engi you.

deso rush is difficult to stop with yuri, it melts away magnetrons, slaves & gatling tanks early game.

also since most players disallow yuri in games, u tend to have better iraq & korea players then yuri players since yuri is different to play.

Sirlin is awesome

But that article also clearly points out why some things are out-of-bounds, even to people who want to win. An etiquette has developed around Yuri (and other aspects of the game) it's how the community compensates for the fact that EA aren't going to balance the game: we develop little rules to balance it ourselves. It doesn't work, obviously, and it's logically nonsense (why is Rhino-spamming acceptable but Boomers aren't?) but it's better than nothing.
