for my mutlimedia sound driver? thanks for the help it wont auto update so i have no sound now.

ehmm,, I had the same problem, you need to know your sound card type,, do you have windows xp ?

Yes i have windows Xp but no idea how to find out what type it is any ideas?

I think every info on ur comp is on dxdiag

Go to start -> run -> type DXDIAG
