Somewhere between 24 - 25 August 2026, all Renegade servers on WOL mode running on Linux (under Wine, running various versions) started struggling around 1-2 FPS. I and other owners with servers on Linux had to disable WOL mode. This also impacts clients/players on Linux/Wine as soon as they log onto WOL. I'm not sure why this started suddenly as some of the servers had no change & been running for a long time smoothly.

Did anything change on XWIS side that might be causing this?

Nothing changed on the XWIS side.

This also impacts clients/players on Linux/Wine as soon as they log onto WOL.

Yeah Windows clients and servers are fine, seem to affect Wine only.

I checked the situation now. Server seems back to normal again with WOL enabled. Client seems fine either.
