I went to the download section and it doesn't appear there is a Yuri's revenge download. Anyone know where I can download it at?

Hey Olaf, nice to see you are still around.

 

I've contacted EA because I own all the games in CD format, but I no longer own a functioning CD drive. Could you hook me up with a way to play? EA told me that since my purchase predates Origin, there is no Origin Game Code, and therefore EA Support is powerless to assist me.

There should be plenty of external CD drives to buy at local electronics store. If your store is reputable you should also find Floppy drives. If it doesn't have any Floppy drives the store doesn't deserve dime nor nickle.

Is there a download somewhere for ra2 and yuris? I still have my game account with xwis but i need to redownload the game as ive got a new pc.

After reading this, I believe that EA wants ppl to buy the game again along with the whole Ultimate Collection, even if you have had physical copy of the game, and they won't give you support if the game doesnt work good on your new PC.

 

If you ppl are happy with this go ahead and buy it but I strongly believe it's bull@%#! and a lack of respect for their fans/buyers.

 

Olaf has retired download link for YR, probably under EA's will, and the few abandoneware websites where you could get the game are being re-directed to Origin.

 

However if you spend some time looking, you still can find some Youtube vids with links on description to sites such as mega or mediafire where the game is still 'downloadable'.

PS: Don't even bother to try running the old CD's on your Win10/11 PC or buying a CD drive at all, as the old CD's have a copy protection that Windows10 simply don't recognize.

lol I've made that video, I found out that workaround after investigating alot but stupid YT removed it. That's why I uploaded to rumble.

 

Not sure if Olaf will like it though.
