So far I'm getting positive feedback, but I'm looking for a more critical eye....
Anyone have qualms about apparent balance or anything that seems to bother you?

Looks like a decent bit of variation - would have to play to completely verify some changes as some are hard to decipher if it's a positive / negative such as oils / 2 oils / gems (and how close/far they are to each spot) etc

I did look at cross-corner balance, either diagonal gives you good opportunity to expand towards the middle and pick your preference for ore vs techs, or safety vs expansion room, or navy vs land rush.
The visible map is around 110x108, that's rather large for just 2 players isn't it?
