HEy, there is a $500 prize pool tournament on Cncnet net.

A 1v1 tournament
and a 2v2 tournament

i will post the description now :

I will be hosting 2 yuri's revenge tournaments with cash prizes starting August 25th  2016   here on cnc net servers.

A 1v1 tournament and a 2v2 tournament
the 1v1 tournament will feature
    $150 1st place prize
    $50 2nd place prize
    $50 best game prize  split between both players in match $25 each
   

the 2v2 tournament will feature
    $200 1st place prize to winning team $100 each player
    $50 2nd place prize  to runners up  $25 each


i will be funding the full $500 from my own pocket so if anyone would like to chip in and increase the prizes and possibly add a prize for anything else you can message me here with a reply and we can get together and make it happen by tournament start date.    i am posting this this tournament well in advance because i want it to run smooth and no excuses of why players dont show up.   i will make a bracket field and an alternate list for each tournament if you do not show up for the tournament time you agree upon you will be removed from tournament and replaced by an alternate person/or team.   no if ands or buts...

Tournament will be first to win 7 games All rounds

Game 1 will be played on map  OFFICIAL TOURNEY B

every game after map will be chosen by losing player of previous game.
Losing Player also selects 1st right to position on map.

All factions  including yuri and france are allowed 

alting of buildings or intentional stoping of units on enemy buildings will result in auto loss of game.

seal tanya ivans primes  all ok.. 

disconnecting during a game may result in loss if i see a clear advantage in your opponets favor.

All games will be streamed by me and uploaded to youtube.  no other observers will be present during matches unless i approve, to prevent any unnecessary lagg issues games will be streamed live and recorded for replay purposes.

if you are signing up solo please indicate so and rate your skills on a 1-10 scale please if i don't know you.

Game 1 will be played on map  MX Tsunami  Supers ON  Random spots all players

the problem is that the tournament maps are modded very bad unit powers are edited making it unbalanced game (mx mod )

mustachex and I go back along time, he's never liked me and this mod he made was horseshit when i played it, though that was a year ago

I wish this tournament success, but i see some problems:

 

1) cncnet user base rarely checks the cncnet forums. A lot of the participants will need to be made clear that there is a tournament that they need to attend. It worked for the few players here on XWIS, but trying to get a large tournament going is never easy, especially with a bunch of random users who check the forums every once and a while.

2) As others have mentioned, the MX mod makes it a bit weird.

3) Allowing yuri on maps like Arena and the other aforementioned 1on1 maps is an awkward idea.

 

But if Kinky is throwing $$$ at it, hopefully it turns out to be a massive success! Good luck all.
