I'm trying to play RA2 in windowed mode. Adding -win to the target in the shortcut just opens RA2's origin page, so I am not sure what to do about this.

- Right click the executable or the game's shortcut and go to properties.
- Click the compatibility tab on the top.
- Check the boxes for the following options.
- Run in 256 colors.
- Disabled desktop composition.
- Disabled DPI scaling.
- Run this program as an administrator.

Interesting - I used to want to do this. I attempted to follow your directions and it did not work.
I have 1920x1080 resolution and play my game at that resolution - I though perhaps it was because I would need to LOWER the game resolution to make window mode work...
1280x1024 also failed to go into window mode.
Shortcut is written as such:
"C:\_Games\Red Alert 2\Command & Conquer Red Alert™ II\RA2\Ra2.exe" -win
Do I have a syntax error in how I added the -win ?
