I am having a weird issue: when I want to do QM, the game kinda gets stuck after the loading screen for a few moments, then I got a frame of my mcv, but then I get the connection screen on which I apperently lost connection with my opponent. Anybody help? I hope I didn't accidently washed games with this. If needed, I'll give FWs when this problem is solved. I had this problem with redaIert, castor and hidufunsn.

EDIT: so yeah, all those games ended in a wash. I need to have this problem fixed ASAP so that I can give those FWs.

Got the LAN patch in your game dir? If so, remove it.

file name? Or do you mean the wsock.dll? I didn't do anything with it. Is it save to remove it?

I suddnely realised that I changed last weekend from the RA2 and YR disk version to the TFD version (due cd-load lag). I also threw in the unofficial TFD patch into it, which probably installed that file in the first place. I am currently reinstalling the CD version. Keep you updated.

I used the multiplayer only version, which seems to work flawlessly. Do I need to make a new topic in the fairplay section to offer the FWs?

I'm having the same problem using only the multiplayer client from xwis.  Any solutions found yet?  Basically whenever I host a game it freezes on my mcv for a few seconds then goes to the disconnect screen.  No wsock.dll file, connection says Nat 1: good.  I can't for the life of me figure out what the deal is.

Thanks for the response.  All firewalls turned off.  I'm wondering if there might be a conflict or something.  Reformatting and reinstalling OS soon, so maybe that will help.

It's most likely a router or firewall issue.
