Just wanna see where other people stand on this, i think it shouldnt be allowed and personally think its cheating, but kujo did to me and claims its perfectly legal and that alot of people do it? First time ive had it done in a while tbh but what does everyone think...

Perhaps this is something we should explicitly append to the rules. Taking advantage of glitches/bugs is prohibited.

Dunno how many times I've been over this with TS players, but many insist; if you can do it without a trainer, it's not cheating. Ah yeah I can drink drive, so it's not illegal...

its not called cheating, its called bug/glitch abuse.

But people could say that tiant walking is glitch abusr too, and yet if it wasn't fort titan walking, GDI wouldm't have any chance against Nod at all. ;*)

titan walking isnt a glitch you moron its part of the games controls, the game was designed for that. Cliff glitch is used by all, so idk what should be done about that but yesi agree alt scout should be banned, its totally unfair.

it's been done since the beginning of wol and wasn't considered a cheat because it is an expensive scout and carries its own risk. it was only considered unfair once strike team took control of xwis.

ALT scouting has always been seen as a n00b thing to do even if you played years and years ago...it may have been "more acceptable" pre-Xwis but it certainly hasn't been widely favored/accepted by everyone who played before then...it's always been controversial and a glitch, and pity the n00bs who need to use it... Kujo is a noob, this is known, 99% of TS is noobs, and thats why you can't play serious anyway...When you want to, theres a noob in the game to ruin it. Sometimes that noob is me. 

 

edit: kujo is a noob because hes another idiot that thinks he can play nod but is trash at it.

 

extra edit: kujo has never been mean to me, but I can't respect an alt scouter ;-D...he'll just call himself an old player, that's his way of saying "i suck, give me a break"
