i started a while ago a topic here when some problems started to give me trouble. (just over night)

the problems were:


-when i create a game other people see only black instead of the map and are not able to press the acc button (here it shows all the new maps in the map pool) some new yuri maps work tho if i join a game but these are maps usually nobody plays

-when i try to play qm and i am the creater of the game it crashes instantly after loading (black screen/dc) makes qm impossible

-when i join a game with new maps it says i dont have them, cant press acc button either

-when someone pages me while im ingame i get the message when i return to the lobby (even tho clan pages/my own) people think im ignoring them

-the ss tool stopped doing ss (yesterday i tryed a /r/dpl ss and it didnt worked.. but i got the game stats message when i returned to the lobby


i downloaded the game 3 times new, the problems still are the same

it seemed nobody could help me so i just had to live with it..


now i wanted to give it another go and also saw the topic about frequenzys optimizer

i deinstalled then downloaded the ra2 olaf file again (which was called multiplayer in the end which wasnt before or was it?) and the optimizer works but still same problems


does not anyone have any ideas? that would be very nice its really annoying for me.

i know it seems nobody has/ had this problems before but im glad for any help or ideas.

Did you install LAN patch (you shouldn't)?
IS there a winsock or wsock file in your RA2 dir?
Did you try without the optimizer?

-i didnt find a winsock or wsock file in my ra2 direction. is that good or bad?
i didnt tryed without the optimizer yet, but since the problem was before i got the optimizer i think its no different, but i will deinstall all again and try without it and let u know

i remember right now while typing, the programm steam for other games stopped working too when this problems started. also two internet pages i used to visit just dont work properly (all white background and every scripts are listed. i think its a problem of my computer, but what might it be?

its just so weird because it doesnt stop working but works with problems... (except steam)

i didnt do anything but found out it just works again!. it seems like a miracle and now i feel very stupid for opening this topic.i really dont know what happened but thanks for ur fast try to help olaf
