Marsh you bene playing since 1999 if you havn't figured it out there is not many players who are good enough to play you anymore when you spend your whole life on this same. So you want to flame xwis because no one can play u 3 am lol . Try to play another game.. not that korean naational game starcraft but another game and see how good your rank is.. OR you can stop video games and become a doctor instead.. yeah thats a better idea.

not sure about lack of admin support. olaf has no power. atleast, not enough power to make any difference. EA will eventually need to make the game free, or it will just die.

I made a similar thread like this but when I thought of things that could be done to make tiberian sun more popular i couldnt. no one to be blamed. its just what it is.also, theresl ike 40 somethingp eople on ts right now. it has been like that for years. so ts is the same as it ever was lol

i think it'll be the opposite, ra2 being free = no serials = no bans = cheaters running around all over the place, competition becomes pointless, then why play on xwis when GR or QQ dont have the server lag,

Hmm, I take back my previous statement I guess then I still think it would be annoying to do though, not sure how the serial verification process actually works, but what you would need to do is not verify at all while in custom match, but in quick match if the person doesn't have a valid serial I guess you would just need to disconnect them from xwis on the server side.

Just so i understand this right, are you saying that's how TS works? without a serial u can ffg but with a serial u can tourny? Would be pretty awsome Imo if ra2/yr could do that, would bring player's give them a taste of the fun they could have and mabye some would buy serials.

Personally i think thats an awsome idea, To play qm you have to register your serial, when you register your serial u have to download a patch of some sort to allow you to connect to qm, when u download this patch it gives u auto-ss patch at same time. Then no1 can cheat in qm.

I don't think you would need an additional patch to play qm if this were to be implemented, it would be done on the server side with the help of the control panel (I keep forgetting that the control panel exists now). Everyone would probably just need to register on the control panel to be able to play, which solves another problem I was thinking would be associated with this which would be, without serials how do you dictate what nicknames aren't already chosen, but with everyone registering on the control panel with or without a serial then this is resolved. But again, I think this would be pretty annoying and probably wouldn't add much to activity other than in ffgs.
