Red Alert 2 Base exploding with LEGAL version![resolved]

great games online. I have bought red alert 2 back in 2000. I want to
play against a friend of mine and everytime my base explodes when we play
a match. I know this is a anti piracy thing, but as said before I have
a legal version of the game. In the past I have been using a crack and/or
or serial from a key generator. My guess is that there is something left
from that in my registry. My question is, does anyone know what I have to
remove to get rid of this anti piracy thing? Reinstalling didnt help.
Thanks in advance, Greetings PB

The use of cracks explains why your base is exploding, delete the game directory and reinstall.
Something in your Registry? That wouldn't have anything todo with your base exploding.

and installed the original game with a legit key, and still my base
is exploding. Which is the reason I made this thread.

When I start the game and want to play online it says that I have an invalid key.
So when I go to the xwis client.exe , I see a key which isnt my ra2 key, and I can't change it
even with admin rights.Does anyone know why ?

My base was exploding every online game, this is what I did:
I downloaded the Red Alert 2 Multi Player Only: http://xwis.net/downloads/Red_Alert-2-0.0.0.exe
After installing, I opened XWIS Client, which will be in the folder where you installed Red_Alert-2-0.0.0.exe
When XWIS client was opened, I clicked serials and there I found a different serial code than mine, I couldnt change it trough
the xwis client, so I copied the serial given bij xwis client and pasted it in my registry (opened with windows key + r)
and there I found it,changed it to my legal key, and now it works, only the "red alert 2 multiplayer only" from xwis. The original installed
from cd still explodes.
