Cold War depends if Allies get left, whoever gets right ends up disadvantaged.. you like lose two oils for no reason contesting middle oil and only way to get rid of barrels is using Chrono Legionnaire while other guy gets like three oils with the two at the top and an airport.

Same with Hammer and Sickle, Allies will pwn on the island where they can stop Sov tank spam by blowing bridges and having gems and access to water but if they're on the mainland at the left side, they get pwned hard.

Isle of War is a decent AvS map, just got to anti scout by putting GI's in the chokepoint and on the cliff, the gems help out with some early air units or GGI's to stop Sov tank rush without damaging your income too much to affect normal spending.

country swing for allied i go. power, barracks, ref, warf +1-2 miner(s), ref (until you have 5 miners), leave 2 refs still up, sell the rest, afc, power, lab, power, ore purifier thingo (optional, depends if your dead yet) Against sovs mirages and grizzlys, against ally prisms mirages grizzlys and rockies, against yuri ggi ifv and mirage, and some prism. There you go i answered your question ^^

Bigger map is for Allied in my mind. Small map would easily be overrun by the Soviet side Rhino tank in very short time.
If u can defend the first wave, they will lanuch 2nd and 3rd wave and continue hit your miners which will eventually kill the Allied palyer.
The best way the Allied palyer can do is more offensive.
Try to anti scout first and don't let the soviet side player see what u are doing.
I have seem some allied players make the airfield first instead of war factory and will attack using the rocketter to the Soviet side player. The purpose is to stall the Soviet side build order and then quickily build up. Or try enginneer rush the war factory or ore refinery to stop the build up.
Try build the ore refinery near the gems if possible, obtain quick build up is the key.
This is only my view but I never be a good allied player.
