Ok, first of all, I think it's important to name the current QM maps of which the ones where Yuri can be faced are marked. I admittably don't have much experience playing vs Yuri so I'll depend on you guys to tell me which maps you want to play yuri on. I've added a lot of the maps prep suggested, just not as many.


So what's different about my plan? I retain the old maps. That's important I think. Just taking out the ones which are obiously imbalanced (anytown). I think we already got a pretty good list. I know they're players who want to add some spice so I've added more maps, but I'm not adding a ridiculous amount of maps. I also tried to add some maps which favour allied and some which favour sov. And finally, adding some maps to the Yuri vs Sov/allied matchup.

SvS, SvA, AvA, YvY = Random, unless listed below.
YvA = Off.

Maps to be be removed from battles which don't involve yuri (svs,ava,avs):

I think this is the best proposal so far. Except for happy trails, ditch that.

Thanks. I think a lot of people wanted that in.

If anyone is planning on attacking a map or maps, have a replacement ready to suggest.

remove thanyas in yvs and yva and i'll vote yes

I'll remove it if you replace it with something else good. :)

Tanyas probably isn't as bad as others. Sov can get more derricks at least, lol.

Still, sov can quickly build to midd and camp with sents. I think sents + connies are better than gattling cannons. Should be interesting.

Yeah I think yuri is guaranteed 4 but if you for a brute or 2 first then should be easy enough to get more.

I would not like to go vs yuri here as allies or sovs just because how much damage mags could do with all those cliffs.

End of the day no-one will be 100% happy, but if it is that close? 1 map? Then you should go for it.

Anything is an improvement right?

This looks the best solution with the most apt person at the forefront of it.

paris can prob stay too, it's only kind of unbalanced from bottom and even then the unbalance is gone after a couple minutes

and your VS yuri map list is weak.

pleease tell me how allies or soviets can beat yuri on Defcon 6.
you have alot of balance issues concerning yuri -_-

maps like Oceanside
and army of the potomac
Where there is high resources,
SHould be good maps vs yuri..
this plan has alot of flaws in it.
and Crates can beat yuri on happy trails are you serious?
Brutes can get alot of crates to, especially if yuri is bottom.
and if yuri is bottom your at an EXTREMELY bad disadvantage
Honestly maybe when you were decent you might have made a better proposal,
But, With ur lack of playing lately i think you made a couple of stupid mistakes,
otherwise the proposal isnt that bad.
i just think the fact that were only adding like 5 maps really gets me down,
but balance wise,alot of it is messed up.
i Personally tested every map more then once vs good players thats how i know the balances of alot of maps,
i've also palyed vs top yuri allied and sov players in CM on these maps so i have alot of knowledge about it.
You should PAtch up your proposal a little bit.

and with all do respect i dont mean to offend you in any way, you're trying to help and i respect hat,
but thats my Point of veiw on this proposal. =]

i gues im just messed in theh ead and like palying new things,
When maps get broing i play Random maps lol haha.
i liek the fact of ALOT of different maps =D
it looks like you jsut looked at the former proposals and used your memory to MAke this proposal without any actual testing.

Happy Trails is out due to everyone not liking it. Oceanside looks ok, but lots of buildings you can garrison by your base. Makes it hard for a sov/allied and gives advantage to Yuri. I'll put Oceanside in though, as you wish. Potomac is ridiculous. Only 2 ways to attack and both sides of the bridge have 2 bunkers. Not to mention there are garrisonable buildings all over. This will be great map for Yuri.

Well good thing I've added more than 5 then. I have almost as many maps as you have actually. Count them. How many is impossible to tell because you got your yuri combat maps mixed in to the mix.

This wasn't a copy and paste job. Every map there I carefully considered.




I've added some maps where I think SW should always be on in the SW section.

i would take out yva, yvs on tanya's training ground because of all of the cliffs other than that it looks pretty good for now i will have to go back through it though, i just started playing again yesterday and just faced my first descent yuri today, i won but wow i forgot how lame cntrl shift

so when are the maps gonna change? because QM is an absolute joke. i enjoy playing vs yuri players, but everytime i qm a yr player i get the gayest unbalanced maps favouring yr. i get bloodfued, then dune, then bloofued again, then hidden valley, then dune patrol again. its just a complete waste of time and makes me not even want to play. you dont even need to do alot of work with qm. remove around 5-6 unbalanced **** maps, and add a bunch to give it a variety.
