Hey there,

I've recently downloaded ra2 again off striketeam.

I am experiencing trouble when running ra2, the screen just turns black/freezes and the only way to exit is ctrl alt delete (saying ra2 had encountered an internal error)

i am running on a windows 7

I've tried changing of screen res no luck

 

Any ideas?

i have posted a topic previously in the year about a similar issue and didnt really get any solution to my problem. i have been trying to play ra2 online and cannot connect with opponents 1v1 / 2v2 (never).
i only connect with a very small number of players online (very rare) - custom match and qm
when i click to begin game or click qm - 'establishing a connection with players', the bubble doesnt appear (next to opponents name) and most likely i have to ctrl alt delete (in qm) to exit ra2.. - also sometimes in these instances the 'internal error' appears!

i am running windows 7, on ASUS K72F -
tried both downloaded and CD version (with patches) and still the same problem...
i have all ports enabled

i do not believe its my router, as i have tried it on two seperate laptops at my place, and i have tried it at a mates place (different router) - still cannot connect with majority of players.

i disable AVG firewall and firewall itself - without doing that the 'internal error' appears everytime...

do not know what to do next - very frustrating, if anyone had any input, would be greatly appreciated

I'd ask you to ban this player ! 'RiizzLaa'. Initially the entire game was running smoothly, after realising he had lost the game, he decides to disconnect, the game begins to lag intensley and he reconnects and disconnects several times (reseting the time duration). so i wait it out..... and still get a loss?
I dont believe this is fair play, from a newb who dc's after losing? and begins flaming me ? and gets the win?! WTF

hey, i was wondering how i can actually play a game of Ra2 online... I create a custom game and when both players have clicked to begin the game - my screen pops up ra2 has encountered an internal error and is unable to continue normally - nothing happens and the screen freezes and i have to ctrl alt delete to exit ra2
