That is exactly why I do not use it. And the apparent faults are not quite apparent but are actually real...

half the people on TS are too dumb to even know what a map reveal is, and for the people that you are suspicious about you can simply avoid playing against them.

Olaf admittedly doesn't know why the faults occur and cannot fix them. So alot of people won't be using auto ss.

Whats the problem exactly?

Internal error when scrolling passed a diz shot or laser, 

Games crashing after its finished,

being auto disconnected joining an 8 player game,

1/3 of ladder games not counting due to crashing games...

delay in game which seems to be eradicated on cncnet, (there is still lag on cncnet but zero delay interms of unit/structure creation and placement)

Was the new "MultipleFactory" option turned on ? Cause that would speed up the production of certain things once you got multiple factories

It was and that's fine i guess. it gives more variety to the game, we just need to make sure that everyone is aware other wise people could use it as a means to take advantage of that knowledge. It isn't typically a TS function and would be for the RA series.

Is that specific to this server?

It is specific to cncnet5 server.

One negative thing i have noticed in game play. 

 

I was producing bombers a lot quicker then helipads even though the pad is a 3rd of the price of a bomber...

 

Theoretically and figuratively the bomber should take 3x longer than a pad to produce....
