Installing windows on mac
04 October 2011 - 09:33 AM
If anyone has any experience with macs please help me out.
I am trying to install windows 7 with the aim of playing ra2/yr using bootcamp.
I open bootcamp partition the drive and then put my copy of windows into the drive and click start installation. My mac then reboots, i get the white screen for a few seconds then a black screen comes up with the message: 'no bootable device-- insert disc and press any key'.
The disc is inserted and have tried pressing any keys and nothing happens. I have even tried this with an old copy of XP i have and same message happens.
Any ideas?
This is for a macbook pro 2.4Ghz intel core 2 duo 4gb 1067MHz DDR3
I have previously used windows on my mac using virtualbox but yr/ra2 runs slow on it and want to enable my mac to be able to boot completely onto windows or mac OSX
