Nox invalid serial

08 June 2009 - 04:07 PM

:help:
When I try to play online, I get this message.

Log in to XCC Online failed!

Strike Team: http://xwis.net/

Your serial number is invalid. you should reinstall the game (using a valid serial).
Server: Red Alert 2 & Yuri's Revenge; SID: -1; Nick: wh4t1f12;
You have joined the Brin channel.

I'm using a downloaded shareware version of Nox, which I know can, and has been played online by other people who have downloaded it.

I've tried reinstalling it several times but I get the same message every time I try to play online.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

I just wanna play with other people online, cause it really is a good game.

Can Admin check this please. [resolved]

This happened around 10 mins ago and has also happened twice more today (can't remember when tho).
They all happened after my antivirus software found an attack (not sure what it was) on the website.
I tried two different browsers (IE and GC) and the same thing happened. It was as if ST didn't exist.
I'm just wandering if anyone else has had this problem.
I told neogrant about the first attack, ignored the second, but the third one I just can't ignore.

Problems with Google Chrome[resolved]

Just wanna inform you that Google Chrome doesn't load The Arcade.
So anyone who has GC and wants to use The Arcade has to use IE instead.
This screen is all you'll get.

RA2 Probs again. Can't host games. [resolved]

This is a recurring problem which I completely forgot about.

I'm having problems hosting games. I'm not sure why, but people can't seem to connect to my game when it begins. It comes up with the message "waiting for all players to join the game." (or something like that). The game doesn't crash and returns straight back to the lobby when I select Quit.

I can join and play games fine and can transfer files with no problems.

I don't know whether it's my broadband or the firewall.
I've enabled "gaming mode" on my AVG firewall, and have added the game files to exceptions on Windows Firewall.
I'm using 3(Three) Mobile Broadband.
