Screen Resolution Problem

When i increase the resolution of my comp to 1280 x 1024, i get a weird problem. rather than having the whole screen visible, i just have a small part of the screen visible and i can scroll around by holding the mouse at the edges.

MSN Question

when i open MSN, it shows my email address and below there's a button that says "Sign in" (see screenshot). the problem is, when i click "Sign in", it just signs me in without asking me for my password, meaning anyone can sign on to my MSN. how do i change this?
