downloaded YR and windows 8...

... doesn't really work.

Even though RA2 works.

Main menu loads but you got to click around for the buttons and then the menu ingame game just freezes after browsing through the game menu enough.

And not really too relevant, but I can't run either Ra2 / YR in windowed mode because it says ""This product requires a 16-bit pixel depth!" but I think it would help because of TeamViewer and such to do so.

XGS problems`(TFD also etc)[resolved]

Hello

I just reformatted again last week and tried to find the download link for XGS and didn't immediately find anything.

The one I found was the newer one by Olaf from last year.

Unfortunately I had the TFD version of RA2 installed also and started the XGS installer which seemed to set TFD Ra2 as the default one (when I use the downloaded version from here instead).

When I would open XGS first it would launch TFD Ra2 instead

Then when I started the downloaded Ra2 and then XGS afterwards XGS would say "Unable to open game."

I think maybe the 1.07 version would work but the link on the xcc website doesn't seem to work.
