I just returned form vacation and Iget the same. Uninstalled and re installed still same message. xwis.dll cannot be found.
Everytime I reinstall it says the same. It says that Artemis!D06C3F6B8450 isthe infected file. and keeps stopping it from downloading
When I copy an old xwis.dll file, McAfee instantly blocks it saying it is infected

Here's the solution. Get rid of McCrappy anti-virus and replace it with something that actually works.
Seriously though, McAfee is garbage. It gives false positives all the time and simultaneously misses real threats.

Sad to say, Norton is also garbage and has been since not long after Peter Norton stopped working on it himself. It's bloated, bogs your system down, and does more harm than good. There are much better programs available for free that let you decide what to do when something is detected.

Hi Seal,
This workaround worked for me :
if you have the Mcafee LiveSafe go to :
(1)Settings and then
(2) Real-Time Scaning then
(3)Excluded Files and finally
(4) Add File.
So Add XWIS.dll to the list and you are done!
(perhaps before that go to Settings/Quarantined Items/click over XWIS.dll and restore (restore it to the original location)
