hi there again,

 

i recently had a topic about not being able to connect to other players(most of them) at xwis. though, the result wasn't so good and i just found some more people who had the same problem. now, i want to see if any of you guys is willing to play in game ranger.well...

 

i know that u r going to argue that there are many cheaters at game ranger and they are uncontrollable , unranked games(ffg) etc but the fact is xwis is reaching a death as more and more trash talkers are found around.thus, i want to see if you guys would be interested to play on this server. u can meet more good players on game ranger and also less lag(i think you call that delay at xwis).

 

let me know if you guys are interested.i wondered if anyone would be interested to play on this server so that we can make an active server for ra2(like it has been done for YR in cncnet)

When i came back last month i had connection issues also and alot of frozen screen while gaming
Last week I've change Ra2 in compability mode for Windows98/Me,  hardware acceleration not full(1 click to the left) and put * videobackbuffer=no * into the RA2 ini.file
Since then no issues anymore, hopefully it stays that way, only issue is the lag when i go to lobby and play tourney/cm/ffg, while QM fps is fine

cncnet doesn't have the real ra2. it's just a mod...

 

in which tank production speed is not the same , selecting units while in factories not the same,you can't make more than 1 tanya etc

 

in particular, they have just removed the YR units and call it "ra2"

 

but that can never be as fun as the real ra2 on gr...

its not true.

 

Speed are the same, selection unit on yuri version has less glitches so its better and yes, u can make more 1 tanyas. u probably played on CNC at 2013.

 

The only tiny differents on both ra2 (vanilla and ra2 mode) are GI and conscript can be promote into the buildings and u cannot allow selection press T all war factory/barracks. instead u need press and hold T first and so u click on wf.

nah, tank speed is never the same in YR.not sure about tanya bcz i haven't tried it since a long time ago.

Hey guys, take a look at http://ngwol.ga. It's and new server , free to play, very easy handling and we're looking for players right now. It has full ladder support for RA2 and YR.

Maybe we can get back the people from Gameranger.
