Its ok as it is right now. Why need police in the lobby for 8 -30 ppl. Better make ra2 play for free.

Totally unrelated issue and recently discussed as being out of xwis' control.

The lobby bot also provided online help. It's a shame it's gone but I doubt it will ever be resurrected

What's the reasoning behind the design choice of leaving the lobby administration for a separate IRC user, instead of having it built into the server?

 

I get that separation is great and I'm also well aware that recompiling the server is a pain in the buttocks, but the lobby bot seems like an integral part of the chat lobby and it's not like it's really changed that often either, besides it could have a config/backend with regex/patterns for bad words and other settings. Is it the recompiling, tedious string/regex manipulation in C++ or both?
