Connected on with Steffen, tried many things including the fix's I suggested.

If any one else has any ideas let me know.

Olaf, how regularly is the server patched? Might need to flush DNS resolver cache or restart the server at some point.

What do u want him to do? It works fine for the most except ~5 people (who are out of luck). U had topics how u cant connect as well but u fixed ur problem.

@Steffen

I am almost sure that mostly everyone has a laptop nowadays, so just install ra2 onto it and try connecting from a different location (friend or work until its not a public wifi).

guys, theres something strange with my router page...

Probably Olaf did something with xwis server, so now u cant access ur router anymore (wooden arms in action).

I think Olaf has found the problem. Iam on ipv6 right now. When i moved on july, 2016 to my new house my provider put me on ipv6 cuz all ipv4 slots are full. But i was lucky cuz on my old house i had same provider and ipv4... So ill get it again in 2-3 days...

Well, Steffen was also using ipv4 but his ISP uses ipv6 confirm with your ISP that your outbound traffic is ipv6 not ipv4

And tell them about this problem with win 10.

They still get money from the c&c colection,why wouldn't they help xwis ?

My provider won't let me get IPV4 again. They have no free spots anymore. Only when I change my contract to business its possible to get IPv4! But that means 25€ extra every month. And that's not acceptable for me. Very bad news guys. Thanks to all who have tried to help me. Maybe in the future XWIS will accept IPv6 too :-)

They're just trying to make more money and sell you a new contract = seller gets provision and a pat on the back.

If they promised you that they would change it, you should insist on it. Put a bit of pressure on the phone service guy but don't insult them. If this doesn't work, which is likely, you should demand to talk to the team manager, works wonders. :)


I was an intern at DTAG for 6 months, mainly in management, filtering databases for people that lived in places with VDSL and were at least somewhat likely to upgrade (based on age, payment history) and passed those on to service teams, as well as evaluating productivity, sick days, maternity leave, "screen recovery time", SignOn time (ready to take calls), time between calls, etc. I also listened to a lot of phone calls of angry customers, if you stay polite and/or ask you're at least likely to get a small cash credit. The pressure for selling contracts and making people upgrade their existing contracts is extremely high to the point where it's literally making entire teams sick.

P.S.: They take notes of what was said after every call, so whoever talks with you the next time can check.
