Marko just pointed out exactly what I'm saying, eman. It's 'not possible' for us to do well playing under their settings. It isn't fun. It isn't interesting. Now, that doesn't mean I don't want it to happen-- I started this discussion after all.

What it means is that in order for the second F in FFG that u speak of to have any meaning, they need to compromise a bit and do things like no France, no alt, etc. Otherwise it's uninteresting; or impossible as Marko puts it.

I'm sure Matt-max and edd+someone will participate regardless though

We can probably convince them to not use France and they said they're willing to try out the XWIS maps. I don't know about the "no alting" part since alting is in their blood but they would probably be flexible on the other stuff.

Spoke to dan ,and we are down for one of these weekends coming up, eman. Although i had problems getting QQ to work if u recall :[ 

Also  -- idea--  what about 4v4 on cncnet? xwis vs china. That would be fun AF. Especially if josh  /  ziiip made a sexy map.

I hope Dan knows that it will be at 4AM for him. I remember you had problems getting QQ to work but I forgot what the exact issue was. Maybe we can make it work this time.

 

Someone would have to translate the cncnet client to Chinese and offer a pure RA2 mode, otherwise it'll be difficult to convince them to even give it a try.

I watched a bit from that youtube link but i get instant flashbacks to how horrible the gameplay was in that mega lag. 

 

Lets just stick to xwis untill we have a solution.
