Greetings friends,

 

We will be holding a tournament during the month of October (and may spill over into November) on CnCNET. This will be a 2on2 Tournament with an 8-team maximum. For all details and rules you can refer to this thread: https://forums.cncnet.org/index.php?topic=6477.0

 

We hope to see some excellent teamwork. I am interested in Matt/Max, Marko (if he has a team), SEXY clan, and many others here to join. Please note that not all applications will be accepted as we have an 8 team maximum.

 

We also are interested in finding streamers for the tournament and any commentators.

It's an important aspect. It does not mean teams *have* to use yuri in their games. There will certainty be many teams that prefer no-yuri games.

 

As a few pointers: Yuri teamwork is exceptional! Masterminding your partners units so that the opponents yuri cannot mind control them, using american paradrop in grinders in long games, putting yuri clones in bf's, etc.

 

Yuri 2on2 and 3on3 clanning has traditionally been different compared to Ra2 clanning as the major difference is the ability to pick spots for the start of the match. This ensures more natural games and a longer game for 2on2/3on3 battles (as both players are closer together). Often, this requires the best teams to work together in 10+ minute matches and utilize the best of all factions!

I think you should be allowed to use them for like 2 games maximum, so there is a compromise.

Too many rules is too many complications. Not only will be people be counting wins/loses, what maps have been chosen, but also counting how many times teams have played yuri etc. It's a nice rule that I wish I could easily mandate, but it also hurts potential teamwork and creates unnecessary difficulties.

 

In general, I don't think too many of the 8 teams will want to play as yuri all games. It's my hope that we have 8 great teams that can use all teams.

This is to help us when we need to narrow down the field to only 8 teams. (as we will have all the sign ups in one place).

i dont think many people play on YR from sexy apart from me and marko

I think best Time to Play a tournament like this are the christmas holidays on december Most Ppl are on this Time at Home .

As an update: It looks like we have 5 teams so far. Looking to get at least 5 more applications in by the next week or so. We only need 8 total teams, but I'd like the choice of choosing the 8 best / most committed etc.

 

Would love a team of matt/max, or any other great teams that still are around here.
