When you place a naval just close to the shore from the bottom right spot it can't be attacked with tanks.

 

 

And this cost me a game btw.

Such thing happend to me on Official Tournament Map B when the guy placed a Naval Yard somewhere at the back of his base on BL, couldn't attack it with tanks even if it was in range, tanks will simply not shoot it which made me to lose the game when my MCV got destroyed and I had no Naval Yard, Radar, Battle Lab to kill his Naval Yard.
