i watched marko vs moon3 the games werenot cool that much it was 7-0 it means when rank 1 play rank 1000 but latof was diff story their games had alot of actions they both r pretty cool in splits and ic but the guy won 7-1 ,if latof will play him next time i believe the score will not be the same unfortunately for marko he still need +300 POWER HORSE DRINK and an avg of 1000 years as experience to beat that guy

I thought marko vs moon was gg's. Moon is clearly better (at least on heck) than anyone we have on xwis, and his splits are just insane, but marko put up a good enough fight in most of the games imo. I don't think the level is too different, and I think of they played water maps marko might have the edge since I'm not sure he's lost a game on hammer or depth charge in the last 5 years.

had much fun with players who shit on the rules and went their own way, prep for example in the past. Martin also know how to lame hardcore was always fun to whatch and interesting to encounter.

I agree ! But remember, during oldschool times when engi eat was normal there was a 3 minute rule!

yeh well the 3 minute rule was at ww times. i dont know the real idea behind it or if there was any at all cuz the game was new (obvious try and see stuff), but i doubt it has anything to do with engieating, cuz at that time it wasnt that known/much of a deal.

the rule then has been removed for a good reason, cuz ppl just left when they didnt like the map/spot or couldnt handle a rush.

 

however as for "laming", it sorta started at xcl where it got a big factor cuz of all the drama queens moaning about it.

dont get me wrong, im neither a fan of "laming", but you got 2 choices:

A) cry and moan about it 24-7 (like around 99% did)

B) just deal with it and counter it (around 1%)

 

my personal opinion is:

- if you have to engirush, go ahead, but dont waypoint it, sorta bug abuse

- dont alt, pure bugabuse

- dont engieat, pure luckbased actions with 0 skills behind it. and the damage done to opponent is way too high for a low amount of effort/money

 

however if the game had patchings im sure alot of things wouldve changed, i dont know what exactly but im 100% sure the 3 above would be changed/adapted.

True, 3 min rule was probably meant more for crates, or cuz game is new like you said...

But i agree about alt and engi rush, walls arent 100% effective!

And dog wars there is a little bit of skill involved, i used to win most of my dog wars on yr there is some hidden dog control

It involves the dogs range/ how many tiles it is away(i never fully gave away this trick, so many ppl asked) Just like the double shot korean eagle you could do "yes 100% on yr if you know how".

But i agree all of the above would be fixed.

However most people lamed vs yuri and found it acceptable lol
