90% of people "flame" at some point in time. John has flamed plenty as well lols. Never understood why people get so butt-hurt over words...especially when they are guilty of the same thing.

He's just returned from a 64 day ban for the same thing. He's also had a 32 day ban for it previously.

And I'm saying you're choosing to ban certain players for something that almost all players are guilty of. Whether it's on S-T or on Ra2, pretty much everyone has flamed, many times. So how are you determining that what Joel says is somehow worse than what everyone else says? It seems the only difference is that people elect to report Joel (and not anyone else), just because they know the admins will take action.
Does that mean the next time I take a screen shot of Showtime flaming someone, I can make a report and get him banned? I coulda done that like 20 times so far lols

Every player will have the odd argument but you of all people should know fine well, the difference between an arguement and going around flaming everyone, ussually unprovoked.
Joel tends to be the latter.

But considering you spend most of your time on another server (cncnet), I understand that disconnect. But perhaps someone who is more aware of how things actually transpire should be handing out bans? Especially for something like this...
As I said before, Half of the active player base (if not more) could be banned for this same thing. That's not exactly a good thing when activity already sucks. But would xwis losing activity really bother you...? As you do play on CNCNET =]

YR is the game I want to play most and as your aware it's dead on xwis. And you'll also find I don't administer any bans without having another admin check and agree upon it.
Mabye you should consider its you who is mistaken. No decision on a ban is taken without evidence.
Let's have an example to make sure you understand.
On this forum I could probably find 20 players who have received joel's vulgar abuse at somepoint in a game.
How many would say the same about showtime?
I'm willing to bet it's nowhere near as many.
As for your comment about XWIS losing activity if I wanted that to happen why would I volunteer my time to help out?

Theres a hugh diff between decent ppl who flame on rare occasions and joel who litteraly flames any game he losses.
This guy got hugh mental problems and should be banned for his own safety.
