There is many reason why the game may crash, Starting by you may have a cheat on the game folder. Anyways you didn't give us enough information about the crash. Does the game give you any error? If it does can you give us a screen shot?

You can try these steps:

1- right click on the ra2.exe

2-Click on properties

3- Click on compatibility

3.1- Click on the window that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select windows XP service pack 3.

3.2- Click on the window that says "Run this program as an administrator".

If it didnt work, Post more detailed information about the error.

If it didnt work, Post more detailed information about the error.

Compatibility and administrator is being set. Didn`t worked out.

Error messsage is simple "RA2 stopped working"
Game client is clean and downloaded from XWIS webcite.

This is an error messages via origin RA2 gameclient.

It is happening with red or yellow connection dot. So i don`t have any idea what is wrong.

And it doesn`t matter who is hosting. I can`t start the match without crash too.

Scirmish with AI loads just fine,

In your first screen shot, there are 2 lines that say "1.0.0.1". What do those lines mean (in English)? That's not the game version is it?

Kinda, see properties of game.exe and ra2.exe on your own system.

Ah ok. Mine says:

File version 1.0.0.1

Product version 1.08

Should his also say 1.08 in the second line? (second line with 1.0.0.1 in it I mean)

Do you use a 3G mobile connection?

That's a division by 0. :detective2:

Olaf, for some reason XWIS RA2 crashes completely, whereas the original RA2 would show the "more graceful" Internal Error (I just confirmed this).

I`m not using 3g connection but my provider have only a "gray" ip adress. Does it mean that i have no way to play RA2 via XWIS?

I'm sure there is a way, mate!  :)

But what do you mean with "gray" IP address? Is it like a shared IP address?

Don`t know the right meaning in english)

Yea! It`s like 1 IP adress shared with all users in town.

Delete every single file you have about that RA2. Install this one. http://xwis.net/downloads/Red-Alert-2-Multiplayer.exe

I see, mate, that's very bad (for RA2). :( Do you have a router in your house? If so, can you try connecting your PC directly without the router? Then see if playing RA2 works.
