Hello guys! Just wondering, whether there's any nicks you would really like to create for RA2 but which you can't because they are already registered.
 
I'd like to have: Avril (I'm a huge Avril Lavigne fan )
 
But I can't create it, because someone already created it 2.6 years ago and only used it for 2 weeks.

So, my question at this point is, do unused nicks like this one get deleted after some time or is that only for nicks that were never logged in to?

Nicknames get deleted after 1 month of inactivity (I think, or after sometime anyway), unless they were used in a ladder game at least once.

Having a broken c button shouldnt stop you using your nick?

 

Edit the file wolinfo.ini and add your nick there, just copy all the detail's of another nick and change the nickname part and copy and paste a 'C' from somewhere.

 

If u wanna look good you can change your stats aswell, like that time you went 50-0 and earned a 3 star badge....

It's funny someone made it right after you posted that. I don't like it though because "avrii" looks ugly on the ladder. I want "avril"! I like original names and often use capital Ls on purpose to stop fakers (SiRaLeX, MiLeY, SceneGirL, PowerGirL...).

I'd probably stylize it AvRiL or AvriL if I had it.

Well, you could be smart and attach an external keyboard to your laptop. If you don't have one, I could help you add that nick via TeamViewer, otherwise I could make an app to manage nicks (if XWIS is okay with that).

That doesn't work. This is where stats are saved, indeed, but not nicknames.

it does work. I just done it with hckid...

Copying details from another nick does nothing, though, at least not on RA2.

Yeah 1 minute before now they're stuck with a useless nick that looks ugly on the ladder.

I had the nick Avl2iL once, but it's meh, I want AvriL! <3
