Hello again,

I had a inspiration last night.

Tell me what you think about it!

Looks very nice. Is the ore amount the same on both starting spots?

yes both have 61150$ on each starting side. I always count the money :) bottom patch is longer, and top patch is wider!

(this is bad)

The wider ore patch will yield a more consistent income, while miners on the longer patch will stray very far from the refineries.

You could say, sure, miner control, but the bottom player would need to miner control more.

Also the oils are not placed in a balanced manner, it's easy to build off the top left oils and block the valley with defences, while the distance from the bottom right oils to the opening of the valley discourages that.

In addition to that, if the bottom player were to harass the top player, the bottom player would have lower risk in killing the oils with land units. While in the reverse circumstances the top player would need to commit to the attack and risk losing the option of retreat.

Another problem is with Allied players abusing prism towers, when placed on cliffs the prism towers can effectively block a passage.

I'm not saying to completely remove the ability to do so, but to minimize the available building space on cliffs in key spots, which would allow players to boost their defence options, but not to the extent that the game comes to a stand still.

I would also recommend adding small ramps between the two oil areas towards the middle ore fields.

This would expand the tactical options available to the players, instead being forced to use a single path.

Different, but nice!

However, considering that you can't pick starting positions, this map would not be playable in clan matches.

ZiiP

You don't even play 2 versus 2.

And you know how many maps there are already lately??

Thank you everyone!  I made this map way to fast. Need to learn from mistakes.  FReQuEnZy nice feedback.   Niek i rarely play 2v2 true.

DylHole  good one!

I have made some changes to the map. Ore on the bottom is same as on top now. Bottom derrick is moved. A additional entry is added, so you can build from the derrick to the small orepatch now.

abusing prism towers, when placed on cliffs    <<<  Cant build on cliffs anymore, prev map you have to kill the trees first, but now its all rocks no chance in abusing cliffs.

looks like fun

i think it needs more detail though, specifically on and around the cliff faces - i.e shrubs/trees and different rocks

adding some detail to those dead corners where units won't be obstructed is nice for aesthetics too

there's another set of rocks named "sand rock #1-5", it seems you haven't found them yet :p

also- the economy seems low for 2v2 but looks great for 1v1!

Very nice, good job.

Though I will predict that Soviet players will complain a lot because they will have to drive flak tracks from their base and back again when playing vs Allied.
