Hello again, 

 

I have made a 1v1 map, i hope this is good enough to be a official map :)

 

Suggestions ? Please tell me.

Looks very nice.

Remove the oils ziiip or put 2 oils 1 for each , and that oil should be placed near an ore patch so we can mine there .

Man I think the oils were cool where they were- pretty distant with an interesting ridge between them- id like to see how games played out there

they were too far away,good chance of the engis being eaten by mistake , and greater chance to be eaten on purpose

Still closer to their intended recipient, and there is choke you can guard- cmon man it'd be different with that cool ridge :D

Great layout Zip. I like the oils better on the left side of the map, the engis will be able to capture them quicker and not be eaten --securing early game eco considering there are no gems at the start. And for the right side of the map, I would put Air Tech ports and perhaps a smidge more gems adjacent to them so you can still have that interesting ridge thing going on. The map would run a lot like heartland but with more split/dynamic potential with paras and cliffs.

 

Easily official material.  Make a 2v2 map next ; )

I think if the techs at BR are replaced with depots they won't hold any value. The derricks are contentious which is why some interesting interaction with the ridge would occur. Otherwise its easier just to move your mcv. Why would I spend 500 and the risk for a valueless structure with limited expansion?

Not depots. Airports. With additional gems next to them.

if you plan on continuing the series of maps i'd like to see an actual medium/large size map - this map significantly smaller than average

play it with and without and see which you like better
im sure it wont be dire either way
