so well, i get slowgames, the bigger or detailed the map, the worse (ex. maps like bullrun, city under siege, etc.)

id appriciate any tips & tricks to minimize lag/slowplay, such as "VideoBackBuffer=no", maybe an anti-lag patch, etc.

im not interested in bigger fixes, such as accessing my pc and playing on settings, i've tried alot of stuff myself alrdy, but maybe something i dont know about (such as above).

Seems like a cpu problem (its just too weak). Although u can try some "unofficial" ra2 patches or setting reso to 800x600 (<--- that would help).

setting reso to 800x600 (<--- that would help).

This, use lower reso.

AMD Athlon ™ X2 Dual Core Processor L310 (2 CPUs), ~1.2 GHz is extremely low, even for RA2.

So either get a new PC or lower your reso...

You cpu is high end compared to the one used when the game came, but take in consideration that the auto ss needs a decent cpu to keep the game smooth.

PS: maybe Olaf can give a hint about this.

Basic theme releases RAM and VRAM depending on the OS used, not CPU.

Turn Skype off too. You need to turn everything off that uses your CPU.

Get "advanced system care" and use turbo boost.

Note to not installed the bundled software.

2001 I got a 1.4 GHZ Amd Thunderbird CPU. Was lagfree on Ra2. How can you even have such an old cpu :p
