The only reference I can find here is from Nine years ago....

 

 

Used to be we could see the Clan info -- the founders name - the founders email address... we could EDIT that info... (using clan password) - - we could generate new passwords - invite people - etc...

 

All those features are GONE - or moved...

 

 

The info below is not valid...

 

I'm the oldest active member remaining in Red2... I want to make it active...

For RA2 clans use this link to invite players into your clan. The nicknames you invite, must have logged onto xwis:

http://xwis.net/xwi/?a=invite

You will receive a clan join password. Give the player you want to invite the password and he can use this link to join:

http://xwis.net/xwi/?a=join

Or, the player can use the /join_clan <insert clan name> command while he is in the lobby after you have invited him.

You can use the in game help commands.

Such as !help or ?help.

@ rumblesom - thanks for the fast reply -- but with that link - I can only 'leave' the clans - there are no options to manage - or invite.

 

@Frequenzy -aweseome that your still active after so many years. -- the in game ?help command does not offer any information regarding joining or leaving a clan.]

There are only 8 options shown on the in game server menu with /?

 

the !help does nothing

the ?help does nothing

 

 

only /? -- gives you 8 commands - thathave nothing to do with joining or leaving clans...

 

historically  you would type

 

/join_clan red2

 

or

/leave_clan red2

 

 

then yuo would be kicked from server - and upon loggin gback in you would be in the clan...

 

The /join command appears to do nothing... -- of course I have no way to ctually invite anyone like I used to...

 

 

So please tell me -- where is the CLAN Management screen? -- the /GA screen does not allow clan management.

Used to be - that anyone with the password could make changes...

 

Now the clan is tied to your XWIS forum account.

 

when I created a fake nickname... - made a new clan....  it then allowed me to invite - or kick....

 

but it would not let me add an email - or website - or edit the 'clan info' at all.

 

 

 

I see what you mean about the clan management being done by the game account...

 

 

In other words -- I need to get Killwild to log in and do it...  since he is probably the official leader.

 

ONLY the leader of the clan can invite people now?

 

No way to do it via a shared password - to allow your members to recruit new members?
