So I'm trying to play Renegade online but having some issues. When I log in the game I get the message "error: deleted nick". However it then takes me to the server list but it is completely empty. So I came to this site and tried adding the nick but then it tells me "Nick has been registered already". I'm guessing the server list is empty because I'm not really logged in or the game is dead. Is anyone still playing the game? And if so is there a way I can get into my account?

Sounds like you have to remake the nickname at your game account:

although I am not familiar with Renegade, it does sound as though these nicknames are created and are connected to a serial not currently registered to your respective game accounts.
Nicknames are attached to the serial under which they are created, if you made the nickname long ago on a different/lost serial it may be difficult to recover access to it.
