Edit: How do i make one big picture of a map, that would save alot of time if i could just draw on the whole preview!

Also, can someone make a map?
Someone who is willing to make a map off of premade ideas.
I recently found one of my old maps i was working on, its a 6 player ffa map, however im terrible at final alert 2.
I took screenshots of a couple areas and drew on them with paint what i want them to roughly look like+random ideas.

Would anyone be willing to Detail a map like that? It would probably take a long time(couple weeks maybe)

No, your map ideas have been poor, to say the least.

You want it, go learn it.

Final Alert 2 is the gold standard for mapping.

Making a map, in particular a good balanced map, is a lot of work that should not be underestimated. Map makers have my utmost respect as they add incredible value and enjoyment to the game.

I like alaskan outback and gave him a lot of constructive criticism when he made it. I think it's great and severely under played

And this one is actually 55% completed already!
I dont have enough time to learn fa2 i barely have enough time to play ra2!

Anyways, can you atleast be helpful then and tell me where/how i can get a map renderer so i can have one big ss of my map?
It would help out even if i ended up having to work on it

The map itself is brilliant imo. It's just not the type of map i'd like to play on.

I assume that he put in a lot of time on alaskan outback so it does kinda suck that its under played.

6 player ffa on ra2 where the max real players on XWIS is 4  :crybaby:

I love FFA's and IMO RA2 lacks a good variety of 4 player FFA maps.

Just had an idea that free for all clan wars would be pretty cool. i.e. 4 different clans in a ffa or even 2 v 2 v 2. I guess teaming would be a problem

You could use the search function...

Took me around 10 seconds to get a few result, take your pick, the bottom link has extra information in terms of map making.

Most would agree with you, seeing as you don't mind playing the same maps all over, but I prefer variety.

RA2 has no other very large maps to offer that playstyle so I made it.

I don't mind if you don't like it, though keep in mind that Tomi is trolling and flame baiting.

My OP on this thread was based on the fact that Tony didn't take the time to help himself, so why should I?

ive always said and always will say the map is shit, because it is shit, named tons of reasons why so in other topics (even at the time where i didnt even know you were the creator of the map). its my opinion though, not my problem you cant handle critism and instantly make assumptions such as if im "trolling" or "flame baiting".

hilarious its you to make such a comment though, because just relook your first respond to tony's post, gotta say you bring the word retard to a complete new level.

I'm pretty sure that zzattack has the capability (technology) to make an online-based renderer, especially so with my help. :flex: :cool2:

The first 2 links are old though.

You should have no problems with rendering maps.

then again i did ask you a couple of times now to remove links to old versions, as bugs did get fixed in the last couple updates, so it would've been nice if you just pointed to the link that always hosts the latest release..
