[Ballowers]

So for over a year I have had been trying to get XWIS and my nick working so I can play Renegade again online and nothing happens.

 

I go in Renegade then in Multiplay Internet then I click on My Information and I have

 

Persona: Ballowers

 

Preferred Server: XWIS

 

Preferred Side: Random

 

Locale: Rest of the World or United States

 

Connection: Cable Modem

 

Then I click Okay

 

Then Advanced Game Listings and when I am at the Server Browser List I never see servers and people on. Any ideas?

 

I want to play Renegade online so badly and after over a year of trying I decided to ask for help here.

 

I have been playing Renegade since 2002 and Renegade X since 2008 and it's multiplayer from 2012/2014.

After clicking the mixcheck executable it still work.

Have you made an account through the game-account and logged in on renegade using the password given to u? http://xwis.net/game-account/

 

I'm not sure if this will help but it's worth a try. 

 

I have a nick registered for Renegade and i've logged in just fine. (I haven't played in over 2 years though)

Yes I have if I remember correctly it also asked me for a serial key.

 

I did resets of password and I can never change password in game it's always has a X to remember my login information, but it's blocked so I can't change my password in game.

 

Maybe that is where I went wrong? How do I unblock so I can change password?

Hmm.

 

Go to the options menu when you start up game. 

 

You can choose somewhere what nickname you want to use and look at the 1 you are currently using... 

 

The one what you are currently using is standard using your normal password instantly. If you want to fill in a new password for any of your nicknames you should press (erase)  the dot in front of the standard nickname password.

 

At least this is for Ra2.

 

You should give it a try for Renegade though, maybe it can help you
