on bigger resolutions the game turns pink and shows only on half of the screen

Hi guys, I believe that I have correctly tried troubleshooting my issues using the compatibility fix, however I am still having issues.  So one of the following has happened:

1. I'm not doing it correctly (most likely)

2. I am doing it correctly, but I am destined to never play Yuri's Revenge again.

 

RA2 seems to work fine when I use the 'game.exe' file(small resolution), but the rest of the .exe files load the game without allowing me to see/click any of the buttons.

 

I downloaded the compatibility file, extracted it, and did the 'double click me' file.  A small black box popped up that said to press any key so I did, and it went away.  I also copied the files and rewrote the existing ones.  And finally I tried changing all of the .exe files to mirror the image that was shown.

 

Is there anything that I have missed or did wrong?  Any help would be greatly appreciated of course.  Thanks in advance.

 

UPDATE

After fiddling around a little more, this issue is fixed.  Just having issues being disconnected from network.

Hey i have a Problem with my connection .... the game says that my ping is over 1000 but its not on evry other programm .... what could cause this problem ?

Hi, im trying to install YR, I went to the download section on Xwis and I chose YR, an icon appeared on my desktop for YurisRevenge Installation, I clicked it and another window opened and it looked like it was setting up to install, but then it gets to 100% and the only three options for me in the window are Cancel, Back and Close.

 

Cancel and Back aren't chooseable, so I can only Close the window. Any help?
