For some odd reason after a game, RA2 gets stuck on the multiplayer score screen. When I click "Continue" it just doesn't want to proceed back to the lobby. :blink: Not sure if it's due to the fact I'm running RA2 via CrossOver on my MacBook but it didn't do this yesterday.. Has anyone ever had this issue?

No, I don't think it'll work with CrossOver.

Here's my Graphics information:

Intel HD Graphics 5000:

  Chipset Model: Intel HD Graphics 5000
  Type:	GPU
  Bus:	Built-In
  VRAM (Dynamic, Max):	1536 MB
  Vendor:	Intel (0x8086)
  Device ID:	0x0a26
  Revision ID:	0x0009
  Displays:
Color LCD:
  Display Type:	LCD
  Resolution:	1440 x 900
  Pixel Depth:	32-Bit Color (ARGB8888)
  Main Display:	Yes
  Mirror:	Off
  Online:	Yes
  Built-In:	Yes

When I tried to add the following into RA2.ini the screen reso is huge, but doesn't cover the full 13" MacBook screen. :(

[Video]
AllowHiResModes=yes
VideoBackBuffer=no
AllowVRAMSidebar=yes
AllowModeToggle=yes
ScreenWidth=1440
ScreenHeight=900
StretchMovies=no

If you wait a while does it allow you to continue? It could be that you are uploading SS to XWIS after the game

This is an issue when using crossover.

Just restart the game, takes 30 secs to log back in. A pain but could be worse.

It does usually allow me to continue.

Such a pain in my ass.

My patch is using the updated game.exe (from Olaf) so it wouldn't cause the freeze due to uploading SS' that the older versions did.

Please note that AllowModeToggle should always = no.
This settings is hardcoded/unfinished in the game engine and usually results in a crash when turned on.
I only used that in my patch/ra2.ini to provent rare graphics bugs that affect the UI (by setting it to no).

Below is the correct set up for most machines. (VideoBackBuffer does need to be turned on in some specific hardware/operating system set-ups or the menu will disappear.)
VideoBackBuffer=no
AllowVRAMSidebar=no
AllowModeToggle=no

I'll try this, thanks Martin.

Left click, right click, wait a moment. Hold the click on the continue button, and retry with multiple clicks did it for me :)
