HI, at first. Sorry for my bad english.

Many Years i do creat Maps for Ra2 and now id like to show all my best Ra2 Maps.

The maps have good place to build to next ores, symetric cliffes and professionell battles.

The map Desert Island (2-4) have 4 Area`s Plateaus to play, is L to R & T to B symmetrical,

have fair ore on fair places and every spot have the same waydistance to build to

the middle. Its a Professionell 2vs2 Map to play left vs right or top vs bottom is good too.

Hello again,

 

Yesterday i finished my newest and hardest work of all Maps. The cliffes takes very long time, i think only the cliffes takes 10 hours time.

Id try to make good room for battles but the right ways to build to next ores. There are 3 big areas for catch and fight for ores too . Thats

2 or 3 maps in one, but easy to play and only 4 start spots. The middle of the Map should be to conquer for the win.

I dont know about the gameplay 'cos I haven't tried them, but they look really frkn good! Especially Desert Island. Now when you say 'professionell' (professional), is that self-proclaimed or have you actually made maps that you were paid for (for a map making competition or your maps were used in rts competitions or whatever)?

I'd suggest adding more detail to the terrain.

I suggest uploading the files to another site (like Mediafire or something) because where they're currently located, you can only download 1 file per 3 hours

I suggest that you take a look at the other maps made by members of the community here on XWIS and at Project Perfect Mod for more inspiration and to learn from.

By the way you can render a whole map preview with the Map rendering tool instead of stitching screenshots together.

 

You should also check out the XCC Mixer too, which will enable you extract the official maps from the game files (multi.mix),

allowing you to see their composition in the map editor which will help you improve the quality of your maps in the long run.

Yes thats self-proclaimed. But i play ra2 now 10years and i know how many space a base need or how

good strategic points looking. Creat good Cliffs/Hills in ra2 are difficult, too.

 

I play the Map Klondike Gold now 5 times and dont find any bug on the cliffes and hills. Its all good i think.

My Economy runs with 2extra miners from Warfac good too, and dont have any credit problems.

 

When anyone have ideas for me, make a good sketch and post it here or to me .

Id like to make more good Maps. Thats fun for me.

That new upload site changes the file names; it adds '+' symbols where there's supposed to be spaces. Here are links to full sized map images and also the map files:

Im sad about 90% of the people in ra2. They play maps with only gems or unlimited ore. Thats not anymore ra2! Thats a camping world and take to long for first fights.

Ra2 have to be a fast skillful game, that is was i love on this game .
