Hey guys,

I just reinstalled Ra2 on my comp that has Windows 8 today and it has been lagging badly. I added the videobackbuffer = no, ran as administrator, put compatibility to Windows xp and reduced to the 16 bit color thing. The lag is still there. Any advice or suggestions on how I can make it run more smoothly?

Does it lag in single player too?

Sorry for the late response dsector. Didn't try single player yet, but after doing some reading on the threads regarding ra2 and Windows 8, it just seems ra2 runs poorly it.

Is anyone running ra2 without flaw on Windows 8?

I'm now trying to find a Windows 7 cd online to I can downgrade. I wouldn't mind sacrificing Windows 8 to give ra2 another shot lol.
