i got two question actually, if any one know how to do this. first how do you run ra2 in window mode for the ultimate collection orgin version???????? creating a short cut with -win is not working for me because it seem the game has to be launch via orgin itself. 

 

second, how do i change the resolution for yr????????? ive tried editing the ini and it just never goes to hi res or to the setting i said. it always just reverts back to defualt when i open the game. Note i have gotting red alert 2 to run in hi res and 1080 p

1) For running command line parameters such as -win, you must disable Origin for all TUC games and download the fixed launchers: http://bibber.eu/downloads/cnc-ultimate-collection-launchers/

 

2) For YR's resolution, you must know that the menu is hardcoded to 800x600, but once you start a match, it will be in your desired resolution.

thanks for that, however i tried to download that before and it does put the games in window mode yes however it makes the game unplayable. i get a strange discoloration going on and i cant actually press any of the in game buttons.

Can't you use the ra2 download version provided on xwis rather then origin ?

i tried that but always have problem getting that version to run. it was a pain getting orgin on to one to work but i actually was able to do it

If you use to the XWIS version and you're encountering an issue where you get a black screen when starting it, you only need to wait a bit longer.

Sorry I forgot about this detail, but to run TS/RA2/YR in windowed mode, you need to set your display to 16-bit colour: http://www.guidingtech.com/9914/change-from-16-bit-to-32-bit-color-windows-7/

You can also try and use the C&C Graphics Patcher, see if it'll change anything: http://www.stuffhost.de/files/cnc/
