there isnt really competition in the mapmaking scene or is there? i thought only josh made good maps, do other guys also make good maps ??

Are there any particular rules apart from not stealing other people's work? So people just need to create a multiplayer map the best they can without restrictions?

No rules to speak of but obviously taking a current map, adding a tree and renaming it isn't going to cut the mustard!
